The International Cardio-Oncology Society – Pilipinas (ICOS-Pilipinas) is a dedicated national chapter of the global International Cardio-Oncology Society, formed to address the unique cardiovascular needs of Filipino patients with cancer. As pioneers in this emerging field, we are committed to advancing the science and practice of cardio-oncology in the Philippines through multidisciplinary collaboration, research, education, and advocacy.

Our Mission

Our mission is to promote heart health in every phase of the cancer journey—prevention, treatment, survivorship, and beyond. We bring together cardiologists, oncologists, internists, hematologists, radiologists, pharmacists, nurses, and allied health professionals to develop patient-centered strategies that minimize cardiovascular risk while maximizing cancer outcomes.

Through regular educational initiatives, clinical practice guidelines, and partnerships with both local and international organizations, ICOS-Pilipinas aims to elevate the standard of care and foster a community of practitioners united in protecting the hearts of those fighting cancer.
